About our festival of authentic Jazz… The 2011 Jazz By Night Celebration was held in memory of Charles Fambrough (1950–2011) at 13 indoor restaurant venues in downtown Media and features a diverse variety of acts that perform genuine Jazz - from Traditional and Classic to BeBop and Hard Swing, and from Avant-Garde to NuJazz.We have a full evening of music, so make a reservation now at your favorite Media restaurant! WRTI 90.1 FM, Philly’s premier Jazz radio station, is our co-sponsor. "It reminds me of New Orleans or festivals in Europe... Media does agreat job to get the music out there and educate the people.
